Lichem Academy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, including instructors, to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and to take appropriate actions including removal of content and termination of repeat infringers.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement on our platform, please submit a written notification to our designated DMCA Agent at:
Your notice must include the following information (as required by the DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512):

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed

Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it

2. Review Process
All reported content will be reviewed by our moderation team before any action is taken. We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe in good faith to be infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others.
We may contact the content uploader to notify them of the claim and allow them the opportunity to submit a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error.
3. Counter-Notification
If your content has been removed due to a copyright complaint and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent at the same email address. Your counter-notice must include:

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification

We will review and act on valid counter-notices in accordance with applicable laws.
4. Repeat Infringers
Lichem Academy has a three-strike policy for copyright infringement. Accounts that receive multiple valid copyright complaints may be suspended or permanently banned, at our discretion.
5. Pre-Publication Review
All uploaded content by instructors is subject to review before being published. This is to ensure compliance with our policies, including copyright and community standards.
6. Legal Disclaimer
Lichem Academy is not a legal authority and cannot mediate disputes over intellectual property. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload or share does not infringe on others’ rights.
